Rock Climbing

TRIP DESCRIPTION:     Have a blast learning how to climb. We will teach you the knots used in climbing as well as climbing and rappelling techniques. You have the full day to play around on the rock and take advantage of our guides that will help you improve your techniques.

WHAT TO BRING:        Plenty to drink and snacks, sneakers or climbing shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent

 

WHAT TO WEAR:        DO NOT wear tight clothes that won’t stretch. Sweatpants or bike shorts work well. Looses tops tend to get in the way and get caught up in the climbing gear. T-shirts or tank tops work the best, Sunglasses; you may also wish to bring leather gloves (like bike or weight lifting) for repelling and other rope work  

 

POSSIBLE RISKS:        Be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen to avoid sunburn since you will be outside all day. Rope burn is also a possibility, so be careful when using the equipment, and bring gloves if you wish.

 

POSSIBLE HAZARDS:    When walking to the site, there will be uneven terrain, and other possible hazards that could cause injury. Watch out for falling rocks while we are at the climbing site.

 

TRIP INCLUDES:         Activity Includes: Transportation, climbing gear (except for shoes), and instruction. Group size is limited so sign up early!
