Welcome to Peregrine Pines FamCamp at the United States Air Force Academy The camp is managed by the Outdoor Recreation Center which is located in Building 5136 of the Community Center. The camp has 105 wooded sites for camping, all with electrical, water and sewage hookups. There are also 8 tent sites. A new shower and laundry facility opened in the summer of 1999, and a new office and restroom facility opened in the summer of 2005. In addition, there are picnic tables, barbeque grills, trash receptacles, level parking spaces and many pull-through sites. There are additional primitive camping sites with a water station. The FamCamp is open year-round depending on weather conditions.
Reservations are highly recommended for stays between May 1 - Sept. 30. No reservations are taken for Oct. 1- April 30; sites are available on a first-come basis.

Reservations / Payment Policy
Reservations for camping are highly recommended for May 1 through Oct. 1, and can be made only by eligible patrons. Reservations are accepted up to 60 days prior to arrival, by calling Peregrine Pines FamCamp at (719) 333-4980, 7days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 1 to Sept. 30. Campers are charged per night per site. There is no discount for weekly or monthly stays. Check in time is 12 noon with check out at 11 a.m. Reservations will be held until 9 a.m. the next day; after that time the reservation is considered cancelled. Failure to show up or cancel a reservation will result in a one-night cancellation fee. VISA and Mastercard are accepted by phone or a check may be sent within seven working days. A credit card number will be required to make a reservation and will not be charged until arrival. At this time you can pay with that card, another card, check, or cash. If you do not notify Famcamp within 48 hours that you would like to cancel, a one night fee will be charged to that card.
Site Policy and Procedures
There is a 30-day maximum stay between May 1 - Sept. 30, and an unlimited stay Oct. 1 - April 30. The sites are to be occupied by an individual family in a self-contained RV only. Subletting of these sites is not allowed. There is a limit of two vehicles per site. Others must be parked in the overflow parking area. There is also no storage of boats or trailers on the site. In accordance with USAFA regulations #48-103, only two pets are allowed per site and they must be registered at the Base Veterinary Services.

Payment Reservations can be made by credit card; payment in full must be made at time of arrival. A one-night fee will be charged to no-shows. Payment by cash, check, VISA or Mastercard.

Frequent Camper Plan
1. User can only get one Frequent Camper logo stamp from each FamCamp location.
2. One Frequent Camper coupon has a maximum value, when used at the Peregrine Pines FamCamp. Inquire for maximum value, and how many coupons can be used per year.
3. Only one coupon may be used within a 30-day period.
4. Please state that you will be using a Frequent Camper coupons when making reservations.
5. The only other person that can use the Frequent Campers coupon, other than the person who has signed it, is the camper's spouse.
Procedures for Winter Registration
Eligibility: Active duty military, retired military, reserves and categories covered in the USAF Instruction 34-101. Inquire for policy on sponsored guests; current security precautions may prevail. Ordinarily, family and guests may be sponsored by eligible people, and sponsored guests must be signed up through the Outdoor Recreation Center (Bldg. 5136, Community Center) by the eligible person.
To Register: Please register at the Outdoor Recreation Center, Bldg. 5136 in the Community Center. Registration forms and envelopes are also located in the green mail box outside the Famcamp office. Fill one out completely. Keep the back copy and display it on the site post. Put the white original copy in the envelope with payment and drop in the slot in the office door. When you depart please remove your receipt from site post.; please put envelopes with payments in slot in the office door.

Directive on Pets at Peregrine Pines
In accordance with USAFA Regulation #48-103, all dogs and cats arriving at the United States Air Force Academy, and staying for more than a two-week period, must be registered within 10 days of arrival at the Base Veterinary Services. Pet owners need not take their pets to Veterinary Services, just their medical papers. Veterinary Services is located in Bldg 6980, just off Pine Drive past Academy High School. Hours of operation are 7 - 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 4 p.m. daily. The Veterinary offices are closed on the weekends. Phone (719) 333-4055. The regulation further states that pet owners on the Academy may only maintain two pets at any one time. Pet owners are asked to pick up a pet registration form and have it filled out and signed by the Base Veterinary Services; pet registrations are accepted Monday, Wednesday, Thusday and Friday.
