10 SVS MISSION STATEMENT:

10 SVS GOALS & OBJECTIVES:
1. PROVIDE QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY COMMUNITY

- Develop and maintain a customer service mentality within 10th SVS

- Improve service in all activities for both internal and external customers

- Ensure systems and procedures are in place to determine customer needs and satisfaction

- Provide quality customer driven programs which serve as the Air Force model
2. EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY MANAGE USE OF RESOURCES

- Eliminate unneeded policies and procedures that reduce efficiency and that waste time, energy, manpower, and material

- Support the base resource, recovery, and recycling program

- Improve the information infrastructure to support a model Air Force Services program

- Work in cooperation with Environmental and Natural Resources in our program planning

- Execute appropriated and nonappropriated budgets at the activity level
3. DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN A PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FACILITIES AND AREAS IN WHICH WE WORK AND SERVE OUR CUSTOMERS

- Improve our facilities through implementation of our comprehensive strategic construction plan

- Increase self-help initiatives and completion of work with approval from Civil Engineering

- Maximize profits to increase funding for professional upgrades of our facilities
4. RECRUIT AND RETAIN A SKILLED AND MOTIVATED WORKFORCE

- Market advantages of Academy facilities and programs to attract prospective employees

- Provide training and tools necessary to assist employees in the successful completion of assigned responsibilities

- Create an environment where trained employees are empowered to perform in an accountable manner

- Improve interactions and effective information sharing within the squadron

- Maximize promotions from within, whenever possible

- Budget and utilize monetary awards and incentives for recognition
Eligible users of 10th Services Division activities are active duty and retired military, NAF and DoD government employees, USAFA cadets and Prep School students, reservists, national guard, and eligible family members.
