Applicant must have experience in general clerical or cashier work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated ability to perform satisfactorily in handling multiple tasks and providing quality customer service. Experience must have demonstrated the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems, and to make change when receiving payment from customers. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Must meet state and legal age requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and Local Files Check (LFC).
Recreation Aid, Position #05266, NF-0189-01
Practical knowledge of recreation activities, rules, and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however no experience is required. Must satisfactorily complete installation, state, and national criminal background checks. Food handler's training is required. Must be able to lift objects weighing over 20 pounds. Recreation Aid (Cub Storage and Cart Attendant), Position # 05307, NF-0189-01
Applicant must have experience providing customer service. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Requires lifting up to 40 pounds. May work an uncommon tour of duty such as days, nights, and weekends. Position is subject to furlough from 1 November to 31 March. Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical Check is required. A valid driver's license is also required. Recreation Aid (Lifeguard), Position #05223, NF-0189-01
For pool and aquatic center lifeguards: Must have an approved and current nationally recognized certification in lifesaving and water rescue methods and skills, as well as basic first aid training, and CPR (both child and adult) training.
For coastal lifeguards: In addition to the above, must also have surf rescue techniques training. Experience which provides a practical knowledge of swimming activities, rules and procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is desirable. Applicant must have some experience, which provides for a general knowledge of retail sales either over the counter or mail order. A basic knowledge of computers and cash registers is required. Money handling experience is also required. Ability to provide good customer service and satisfaction. Applicant must have organizational skills and oral and interpersonal communication skills. Applicant must be currently enrolled in a Professional Golf Management (PGM) program at a recognized PGA University. Supply Technician, Position #70063, NF-2005-02
Experience which provided knowledge of standardized supply regulation, policies, procedures, or other instructions relating to the specific functions assigned. Requires familiarity with one or more automated supply databases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports. Knowledge of the structure of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced. Knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments and to resolve recurring problems. Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds. No previous experience or training is required. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions and prepare checks for patrons. Must have the skill required to serve beverages and meals in the proper manner and sequence, and are knowledgeable of the proper food handling techniques such as the correct side to serve from and the correct side to remove from. Must have experience in relating food menu items and wine selection for various foods sufficient to explain to customer. Experience in suggesting available beverages and wines and which wines complement specific meals and their proper serving temperatures is desirable. Must have experience in the proper table setting techniques; e.g., silverware, glass, condiment, and decoration placement. Must be able to follow cash handling procedures, make simple mathematical computations, and prepare checks for patrons.
