ORGANIZATION: Cadet Wing Media is a mission essential activity that supports the entire cadet wing by providing creative learning and leadership opportunities in broadcasting, public speaking, publishing, design and layout, which supports cadet activities with funding through the sale of products.

VISION:  Develop and maintain unique cadet learning and leadership opportunities by providing training in the use of multimedia such as print, video and broadcasting.

GOAL:  Create unique products for cadets, family, friends, supporters and air force community that tells the story of cadet life through print, photographs, videos and USAFA air-waves on the cadet run radio station, 97.7FM KAFA, while achieving total customer satisfaction through timely delivery of superior products that reflect Air Force Academy core values with added emphasis on accuracy, completeness, clarity and quality.

KAFA is the voice of cadets to the Colorado Springs area and now the world via web streaming! KAFA radio offers Academy programming such as Falcon sports coverage, live coverage of In processing and Graduation, BCT updates, interviews with Academy leadership and more. We play music targeted to the cadet age group. Most of our DJ's are cadets but you will also often hear Grads, current Academy staff including officers, civilian, and NCO's on the KAFA airwaves.

 The station supports many cadets' activities with the KAFA Road Show providing live DJ entertainment for events like Ring Dance, Valentines ball and football tailgates.
